As a consumer of raw forestry materials and part of the timber processing industry, Wallnäs Timber AB will operate as responsibly as possible regarding the environment and its employees.

We will comply with current legislation, and follow the PEFC (PEFC/05-32-202) and FSC® (FSC-C125348) requirements and intentions, and as far as possible ensure that the raw materials do not come from illegal or unauthorised felling, key biotopes, forestry areas where traditional or civil rights are infringed, forests where high conservation values are threatened, genetically manipulated trees, natural forests that have been felled to exploit the area for plantations or non-forestry land use, or where the ILO’s fundamental conventions are infringed.

Our operations will be run and improved in such a way that any negative impact on the environment is reduced.

The largest possible share of the raw materials will come from environmentally-adapted, certified forestry. Wallnäs Timber AB will strive to increase this volume.

We will responsibly fulfil our obligations towards our employees, society, the environment and contractors.

Our staff will be trained and informed so that they can fulfil the above requirements and intentions.
